For those who cant make the big bear event or those who were worried about too rough trail, we will be running a very easy trail down bear vally road to the ghost town mines on saturday. once we hit the trail round trip should take two hours at most including sandwich lunch, If you feel like BBq it may take longer but we will be out before dusk. Easy road and very scenic. Post up if interested. Meeting point will be determined by friday. This trail head is at the 8 freeway and the exit to Julian.

I should have noticed all the white.

Speaking of OB, my mom wanted to go to the San Diego Zoo yesterday so on the way home, I made sure we stopped by Hodad's.. It was our first time there. Damn that was some fine grub!!! And the shakes / malts are delicioso!

Welcome to the forum. Keep your eye on the trail runs section, and you'll see any future runs pop up. There's a camping event there for Memorial day weekend, which might have a run through somewhere after.
