Re: Toyota of Escondido : the GREAT DISASTER

I bought my FJ from Escondido. I heard they had some issues in the sales dept. and had made some changes to personnel to rectify the issue. I have not had to deal with the service dept yet.

I have had problems with Harley dealerships and learned to do most of all my own work. I found a great mechanic to take care of those issues that were either beyond my scope or things I just didn't want to deal with.

It sounds like I will probably need to do the same thing with the FJ.

Re: Toyota of Escondido : the GREAT DISASTER

I've heard the same thing about the Escondido dealership. I do pretty much all of the stuff on my car myself, but the few times I have taken it in for service or to order an OEM part, I went to the Poway dealership. They have always been good to me and given me good deals on parts. I keep hearing how good the el cajon dealership is though so I think I'll check them out next time.

Re: Toyota of Escondido : the GREAT DISASTER

I have had very good luck with Toyota of Escondido service and find them very off road friendly. I do prefer to go through Doug or Jennifer as the other guys lack people skills and FJ knowledge!
